IN PERSON
IMPORTANT! – Please note that if you are registered for the Path of Liberation Level 1&2 program, then you do NOT need to register for this Empowerment, as it is already contained within your other event registration.
This empowerment introduces practitioners to White Tara as a support for long life, healing, the swift unfolding of wisdom and compassion, and connects us to Rinpoche’s lineage tradition. An embodiment of enlightened activity, White Tara serves as the principal deity of the Tergar lineage.
Mingyur Rinpoche is known for the warm, humorous and down to earth style with which he skilfully conducts the empowerment, making this profound Buddhist practice applicable for everyday life. During this evening programme, Rinpoche will also offer a Refuge Ceremony for those who wish to formally enter the Buddhist path.
There are no prerequisites for attending this event, the programme is open to all.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the Refuge ceremony or simply observe. Those taking Refuge for the first time will be invited to the front to formally mark the occasion and receive their Refuge Name from Mingyur Rinpoche. If you are taking Refuge for the first time, and would like to participate in this way, then please indicate this during registration.
During the Empowerment there will be an opportunity to make an offering, should you wish to do so. You will also have the option of offering a traditional white scarf (Katak). These will be available to purchase at the venue.
If you have items that you would like to have blessed, then you may bring them along to the event and place them on the blessing table. Mingyur Rinpoche will then bless these items during the course of the event, ready for you to pick them up again at the end.
